If you have not registered yet, please do so using the Registration Form. Use the username that was e-mailed to you.

Once you have registered, log in at the Start Page with your username and password. You will then see a page containing a number of links and a list of control numbers of papers previously and currently handled by you, as well as papers that you have been requested to handle. You can either follow one of the links on this page, or choose one or more control numbers from the list and click on the button labeled "Proceed."

First, please select the control numbers of the papers you are willing to handle. Then click on "Proceed." You can indicate your willingness to handle these papers by clicking on the link marked "Agree to Handle Paper" on the next page.

Please recruit five reviewers for your paper as soon as possible. A sample e-mail recruiting message is shown at the bottom of this page.

Once someone has committed to being a reviewer for the paper, add that person to the list of reviewers using the Add a Reviewer form.

Reviewers will be sent instructions and automatic reminders via email. If a reviewer is several days late in responding, you should contact him/her directly to encourage completion of the review.

When at least three reviews have been received, you will be asked to assess the reviews and provide a recommendation to the Editor-in-Chief whether to accept or reject the submission. The Editor-in-Chief will communicate a final decision to the authors along with instructions for resubmission, if warranted.

Sample E-mail Reviewer Request

Dear Colleague,

I am contacting you to ask if you will review a manuscript that has been submitted to the IEEE Transactions on CAS-II. The paper, whose abstract is enclosed, addresses your field so you may be interested in what the authors have to say. We need to get the review completed during the next 30 days. We know that you have a very busy schedule but we would truly appreciate your help as a competent reviewer. The complete review process will be handled by the world-wide web or e-mail whenever possible.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are willing to conduct the review.
